Hallett's Hits 6/29/25

Hi! Welcome to the final Hallett's Hits of my favorite month, and the final Hallett's Hits before my second-favorite month and by far the most packed month for this blog. In case you didn't see the comment I left on last week's post, I just wanted to thank everyone for getting me to my seemingly unrealistic year-end goal of 13,000 views... just halfway through the year! Wow. I'm so glad my blog has been able to reach more people than ever before, and I want to commemorate this by making 31 posts, one a day for the entire month of July. Although I'm busy every month, I ultimately decided July works well for me for one of these monthlong daily series. Most of the posts won't be that big, but they'll be whatever I want them to be, including album reviews, Hallett's Version concepts, playlists, predictions, rankings, behind-the-blog, and much more. (Yes, my weekly Hallett's Hits posts will count towards the daily series, but I'll make all four of July's HH installments special by pairing them each with their own unique summer playlist.)
