This week's Hitbound gave us just two debuts. First is Are You Even Real from Teddy Swims & Giveon. This isn't great, but I think it's my favorite song I've heard from Teddy Swims. It's got nice production and decent lyrics but it's nothing too amazing

Next is a song that I actually predicted somehow, if you've seen my secret post for the 13th day of Christmas. This is Morgan Wallen's new song Smile. I generally do not like Morgan Wallen but this is actually pretty good. The production's pretty cool-sounding and the lyrics are solid but forgettable.

These are currently in the abyss, and I hope Bmf debuts, but I don't care about Messy.

I wish Touch could get more success on here, but I doubt it'll last much longer.

Really hoping ILYIS rebounds soon, it didn't deserve to fall so hard after its massive debut.

I'm shocked Apple has lasted so long. It's survived Brat summer, Brat autumn, and Brat winter, and now it's feeling twenty-twoooooooooo. It'll probably be out of here next week.

I have no clue why 2 Hands decided to make a huge climb, and even less of a clue why Sailor Song did the same. Sailor Song really should be sailing its way off the countdown by now.

Great to see that my current favorite countdown song managed to return to the top 5.

Geez Louise, we've had a whopping three songs this past year that lasted over 30 weeks on the countdown! First it was Austin, then I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, and now Birds Of A Feather. BOAF has been spinning around taking up space in the top 5 for a million years now. I honestly see this song leaving the whole countdown from #4 next week.

Well, after many non-consecutive runs at the top spot, Taste has been re-re-dethroned by Bruno Mars once again. But this time it's not Die With A Smile, it's Apt. This song has actually grown on me significantly since I first heard it. I don't like it as much as Taste but it's a nice catchy song that I don't mind having at #1. I do hope Pink Pony Club can take #1 soon though.
